The pMad new single 'Missing' is about not valuing people enough when they are with us and only realising the loss to us when they are gone.
The single is a haunting exploration of the human tendency to overlook the value of relationships until they're no longer present, echoing longing and regret.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences including The Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and Kings of Leon, pMad's music transcends genres, blending darkwave post-punk with metal indie rock to create a unique sonic experience.
Reflecting on the release, Paul Dillon says, "pMad is about embracing the imperfect nature of existence, delivering powerful messages through music. 'Missing' is a reflection on the importance of cherishing relationships before it's too late."
lyrics
Why do you have to breath so loud
Why do you have to shout
(Choose to live)
Reason for living
Living for reason
Somebody's out there, nobody's waiting
(Silent mystery)
Missing me now
Missing me now
Times are tough
Times are tough
That was then and this is now
Nobody's out there
Nobody's waiting
It's not just a hole in the ground
Don't let time smoother you
Can we believe in forgiving
Or can we just forget
Times are tough
Times are tough
Nobody's out there
Nobody's waiting
Nobody's out there
Nobody's waiting
It's not just a hole in the ground
Nobody's out there
Nobody's waiting
It's not just a hole in the ground
Bring your axe to the wood
Come home with more than you should
A soulless people near a ringing steeple
Buying camels and needles
Times are tough
Times are tough
Nobody's out there
Nobody's waiting
It's not just a hole in the ground
Times are tough
Nobody's out there
Nobody's waiting
It's not just a hole in the ground
